Description
A large-scale, physics-based model of the inner heliosphere that the Space Weather Forecast Office uses to give 1–4 days’ advance warning of solar wind structures and Earth-directed coronal mass ejections. It couples the WSA near-Sun model, driven by GONG observations, with the Enlil 3-D magnetohydrodynamic model.
