Description
A computer-controlled whole air sampling system (bellows compressor plus rack-mounted modules of twelve 1.4 L electropolished stainless steel canisters) that collects samples for offline GC-MS analysis aboard research aircraft and mobile laboratories, in survey or on-demand plume mode. Canisters fill in 3–10 seconds when airborne. Custom built by NCAR Design and Fabrication Services.
